The YMCA of Three Rivers Immigrant Services Mentorship Program is all about the community helping newcomer professionals successfully enter the job market of their professional fields in Canada. Mentors are community volunteers that are employed and connected in their professionals fields and are able to help someone else prepare for, and successfully enter into their shared professional field. Mentor should be in their professional field for a minimum of 3 years. All professional fields welcomed.

The program is currently in need of mentors in the following professional fields:
• Radiologist • Physician • Emergency and Disaster Relief Management • Data Analyst/Scientist (2 positions) • Lawyer • Biologist (2 positions) • Marketing (including Digital) • Financial advisor• Public Health •Banking • Life Insurance • Customer Service • Corrections-Youth offenders • Web Developer

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group
Age: 18+

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training and Orientation will be provided.
Working Conditions:
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers

Time Commitment

Duration: 1 year or more
Varies depending on mentee schedule. Flexible.
