   About the Position

Impact Statement
Our volunteer help us foster and facilitate high quality, safe mentoring programs for children in need.

Description
In just one hour a week, you can be a role model and friend to a child in Grades 1 through 8 as an In-School Mentor. The program is currently being delivered via virtual methods and platforms, during a time that fits with the volunteers schedule. In-School Mentoring volunteers are matched with one child and engage in activities such as games, crafts or just hanging out. It's a small commitment that makes a BIG difference!


Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual
Age: 18+


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation and training are provided by the organization. In addition, our volunteers receive on-going support.
Working Conditions: Remote
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space


Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
30 Minutes-1 hour a week commitment.
