   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Join us for our second virtual festival. The date is August 21-22, 2021.

We are eagerly looking for a few volunteers to help promote the LINK Picnic Festival and other marketing events before the festival. If you have any experience and ability in using social media, particularly from a marketing perspective, we would like to have you as part of the team!

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group, Student Placement
Age: 18+

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation and training will be provided by the Social Media Coordinator or the Event Manager.
Working Conditions: VIRTUALLY working from wherever you are!
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers

Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
FLEXIBLE! Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
