Impact Statement Celebrating and inspiring the community through the shared experience of film, the Grand River Film Festival (GRFF) is an annual week-long festival dedicated to bringing bold, reflective and inspiring films to Waterloo Region. CineSeries events will take place from September through April.

While our work is focused on bringing the community together through the shared experience of film, we also have a commitment to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our volunteers, guests and community. As such, in addition to the cancellation of the week-long festival in May 2020, we will be cancelling all film screenings for the remainder of March and the month of April. This includes CineSeries screenings planned for April 1 and 22, and CIGI screenings planned for March 18 and April 7. Our next festival will be in May, 2021.

Our current volunteer positions listed will remain virtual through email and phone calls until it is appropriate to hold in-person meetings again.
Description Help us connect Virtually For Now! The Content Marketing Team is a shared responsibility to curate and distribute "shareable" content on our digital platforms. Team members will work together under the guidance of our Director of Communications and assist with drafting and scheduling social media posts and e-newsletters on a MailChimp platform.

Skills for this role that are great to have:

- The ability to curate content through online research that aligns with brand objectives
- The ability to create coherent content that resonates with the identified audience personas and front lines the brand message
- The ability to write creatively with some narrative
- Photography and/or Video Skills will be an asset but not required
Training Details Training and orientation is provided by the organization.
Working Conditions In this position, you will support both the annual festival held May 2021, and year-round film programs CineSeries and the Youth Video Competition in partnership with KPL and the City of Kitchener

Time Detail Volunteers can set their own schedule to create content regarding GRFF and CineSeries' films and events to submit to the Marketing Chair. Connect virtually for now.
