   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Festival date is August 21-22, 2021.

Looking for a creative individual to help create content for an online blog and social media posts as part of our marketing campaign. This volunteer should have experience writing, be prepared to provide samples of work, communicate well verbally (to complete interviews) and in writing.

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual
Age: 18+

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training will be provided by the marketing team.
Working Conditions: Will include phone or in-person interviews throughout the Region as well as time spent in front of a computer to complete writing. Meetings with the marketing team will also be required in an office setting.

Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
Will be required to complete one blog a week.
