   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Join us for our second virtual festival. The date is August 21-22, 2021.

We are looking for someone proficient in WordPress to guide a team of other website volunteers to improve/update our WordPress site, make it more mobile friendly and interactive and be ready to host our second virtual festival. The ideal candidate is a good communicator, can prioritize and distribute tasks, has Wordpress knowledge and experience and the time to handle the responsibility.

Ideal for: An Individual, Student Placement
Age: 18+

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: You will consult and work with the Event Manager.
Working Conditions: Flexible - Virtually while pandemic is on.

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space

Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
Flexible before Festival date of August 22-23, 2020.
