The Grand Valley Trail was built and maintained through a large network of volunteer maintenance workers who ensure a strong and safe trail system. A volunteer Board of Directors administers this not-for-profit organization and therefore we would not exist if not for our enthusiastic volunteers. As a Marketing Director, you will ensure all promotional materials are consistent, appealing, and suitable in style and content; create standardized promotional presentations, which focus on developing the GVTA as a public resource.

In this role, you will also cultivate relations with public agencies including municipal and regional governments, the GRCA, and foundations in order to obtain cooperation, funding and expertise for the GVTA. As well, you will liaise with public media by direct contact providing press releases, and holding press conferences.
