Position: Tutor - Fluent in American Sign Language - Pathways to Education
Location: 400 Queen Street South

Description: We are in need a volunteer who is fluent in American Sign Language to tutor a high school student. Be part of creating a Graduation Nation!

Share your love of learning with high school students who are from neighbourhoods where they face challenges in successfully completing high school. Tutors provide homework help in subjects including French, Mathematics, Science, Geography, and History.
Training Details: Program orientation will be provided. Tutoring runs mid September to June. Must complete volunteer screening prior, including a police check.
Working Conditions: Several community locations - to be confirmed during placement application.
Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekday - Evening
Time Detail: 2-3 hours per week in the evenings.
Age: 18+
