Position: Social Media Coordinator - Belmont Village Bestival
Location: Belmont Avenue West, Kitchener, ON, Canada

Belmont Village Bestival brings local artists to the Village to celebrate music and other artistic expressions in this beautiful gem within the City of Kitchener.
Description: Responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to promote overall awareness of the Belmont Village Bestival and promote awareness of terrific opportunities to:
•Volunteer
•Sponsor
•Showcase your work as an artist in your chosen medium
•Support your local Belmont Village businesses
•Have a terrific day out with friends and family, soaking up a day filled with music, art, food and fun

You will do this by:
•Developing, implementing and maintaining a social media strategy
•Work with festival organizers to develop content and ensure content is informative and appealing

The skills you have to offer include:
•Demonstrated experience with developing marketing campaigns using social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
•Comfort with hosting video interviews with Bestival planners and participants
•Experience coordinating and collaborating with with other marketing and public relations initiatives
Training Details: Orientation and Training will be provided by the organizers of Belmont Village Bestival.
Working Conditions: The Bestival will run on Friday September 13th and Saturday September 14 rain or shine. You will be working primarily outdoors for content gathering and creation. For the actual event, many posts will be in real time and on-site.
Timing is flexible leading up to the event, depending on interviews scheduled etc, but your presence will be required September 13 and 14th at the festival. Support will be available from festival organizers at all times.
Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening, Anytime
Time Detail: 3-5 hours per week to develop content, longer shifts on September 13 and 14th during actual festival
