   About the Position

Impact Statement
Volunteer to help with yard work at homes for individuals with exceptional abilities.

Description
We are looking for individuals or groups of people to commit to general yard maintenance, such as raking, weeding, mowing and trimming trees and bushes.(Spring, Summer, and fall). We have 12 homes throughout the region of Waterloo. You can pick which one is the most convenient location and the times that work best for you. We will provide the equipment you need.


Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group, Student Placement
Age: 19+

Area(s) of Interest: Environment, Maintenance, Accessibility

Skill(s): Sensitivity, Respect, Self-Motivation, Flexibility, Repairing


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation to the agency will be arranged by PCL management.
Working Conditions: Work is outdoors.
Transportation: On a bus route


Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
Anytime
Time and days are variable. Could be a one time effort or a few days through the fall
