Description As a Volunteer Convenor, you have an unique opportunity to spend time doing things you like and assist in making these programs available for other adults to participate in. You will help provide a welcoming and inclusive space through equal and fair play for older adult and adult pickleball participates. You will also represent the group by bringing any questions and/or concerns to City staff. Volunteers should have a working knowledge of pickleball and its rules. Volunteers are asked for a 6 months commitment.

Training Details: Provided by staff prior to first shift Working Conditions: Indoors. Gym setting Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening Wednesday afternoon (1:15 - 4 p.m.) Friday afternoons (1:15 – 4 p.m.) Friday evenings (6:45 – 10 p.m.)
