Description
Being a host family is a unique volunteer role based around inclusion, belonging, and dignity. Family Home is an opportunity where you would invite an individual who identifies as having a disability into your home. The matches are informed by the individual needs and interests of the person staying with you. Expenses will be reimbursed up to a set amount.

Training Details: All training provided by Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region: First Aid/CPR-C; Inclusion Orientation; Additional skills based on individual needs.
Working Conditions: In your own home visits with a thorough matching intake processes to assure a good fit with your family and home.
