Volunteer Waterloo Region (VWR) is a nonprofit that supports over 150 local organizations in the Waterloo Region. VOLUNTEERWR.CA is a central organization that helps local citizens connect to nonprofit and charitable organizations and opportunities.

Description
Are you looking for something fun and meaningful to do over the summer?
Help us create a more welcoming and inclusive community for seniors who want to want to get reconnected to their community.
Join staff at VWR and seniors at the Rockway Community Centre for a fun and interactive time. We will be meeting every Wednesday for a few hours to play board games, pin-pong or pool. Other ideas are welcome.
Community Involvement Hours, snacks and opportunities to meet new friends and mentors will be provided!

Age: 15+

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: No Training required! Just register and come be yourself. Get ready to meet new friends, play some board games and have fun!
Working Conditions: Drop-in program at Rockway Centre!
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers
Transportation: On a bus route

Every Wednesday- Starting July 6th to August 31st (3:00pm-5:00pm), it will be a drop in session, come when you can, leave when you want.
