Impact Statement Volunteers get an opportunity to make new friends and meet interesting people as well as having the satisfaction of making a positive difference in another person’s life. In addition, this will be an opportunity to develop new skills and abilities and give you a chance to belong to and feel part of a unique community.

Description Coffee servers will be in charge of the coffee station. They will be responsible for making the coffee, serving the coffee, and distributing the coffee from out of our kitchen.
They will be responsible for keeping the coffee station clean (food safety) and sanitized during their shifts. They will be expected to have excellent spoken English, be friendly and outgoing at all times and get to know the names and preferences of the guests they are working with.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: On site training and orientation is provided. Working Conditions: Mostly standing and walking indoors in a soup kitchen type setting, interacting with the people who are using our services. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Evening Volunteers are scheduled for just one shift per week at a mutually agreeable time slot. Currently the available slots are as follows: Mondays 5:15pm-8:15pm
