The Southern Ontario Locomotive Restoration Society is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration and operation of vintage railway equipment.
Description
Are you up for a ride? Waterloo Central Railway is looking for fun loving, talkative individuals with a contagious spirit! Helpers are needed Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays from both locations (St. Jacob's museum or the Farmer's Market) for help ON the trains. As a volunteer you would ride the rails and talk about the local history, meet people while providing a safe environment for them to enjoy. You could also work our snack bar, sell and take tickets, redeem coupons and make sure passengers are having fun.
