   About the Position

Impact Statement
Through participation in our programs volunteers help people to get their needs met, develop skills and make community connections. Volunteer participation increases opportunities and capacity for positive growth in all areas, including education and employment.

Description
This position requires regular attendance at: monthly board meetings, the Annual General meeting and this opportunity requires a commitment to the work of Kinbridge Community Association.

In addition, the Volunteer Board Member must:
Be willing to serve on at least one committee;
Maintain confidentiality of participants, volunteers, staff and board at all times.
Follow bylaws set out in the constitution;
Participate in the long range strategic planning of the Centre;
Actively participate in Special Events;
Marketing and Communications, Fundraising, Business skills would be an asset
Actively participate in special events.

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation and training is provided on the job.
Working Conditions:
Transportation: On a bus route


Time Commitment

Duration: 1 year or more
Weekday - Evening, Anytime
Third Thursday of each month - evening.
