As a volunteer with iHelp International at our upcoming Summer Festival at Victoria Hills Community Centre, you will play a vital role in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for youth and community members. By assisting with the youth basketball tournament, guiding participants, supporting registration, and helping with event logistics, you will directly contribute to a positive experience for everyone involved. Your time and energy will help foster community spirit, encourage youth participation in healthy activities, and ensure the success of a meaningful local event.

Description
iHelp International is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to support the smooth and successful execution of a youth basketball tournament during our Summer Festival.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and direct youth participants and spectators to their designated areas
• Assist at the registration desk by checking in participants and distributing materials
• Provide general support throughout the event, including setup, cleanup, and addressing participant needs
• Ensure the event area remains organized and accessible
Help create a positive and enjoyable experience for all attendees

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Volunteers will receive on-site orientation relevant to their specific roles.

Working Conditions: You will be volunteering at a neighbourhood celebration, a vibrant community event that brings neighbours together to connect, celebrate, and enjoy time at the community centre. While supporting the event, you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy the festivities, meet new people, and be part of a joyful and welcoming atmosphere.
