Impact Statement
KW Habilitation is a not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of individualized services and supports to children with any special need and adults with developmental disabilities. We believe that a good life is fostered through early learning supports, inclusive living services, community involvement, and employment supports.
Our Farm is an unfunded program located on 10 acres of property on the edge of Waterloo. We use organic growing practices to grow food on over 1/3 of an acre, and everything we grow is provided free of charge to the people we work for. This decreases the cost of groceries and gives people access to fresh veggies for more than 6 months of the year. Any left-over produce is then donated to other community organizations.

Description
several positions Garden and path maintenance:
1-raking, weeding, organic spray, small branch trimming along our 1 km trail 1x/week June-October
2-Push mowing around garden beds and orchard areas 1x/week May-October
3-flower picking and arranging flower bundles 2 hours Tuesday afternoons July-September
