Description In this occasional role, the volunteer will support the Program Lead by helping to prepare materials that will be used as part of groups and workshops.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Accurately measure and cut materials to specified sizes, ensuring precise cuts that align with project guidelines and requirements. -Set up and operate laminating machine safely and efficiently, monitoring the process to ensure high-equality results. -Review all finished materials for defects or imperfections, ensuring that all items meet the established quality standards before being considered complete. -Report any issues or potential improvements for materials to the supervisor. -Keep track of materials used and inform the team when supplies are running low.
This occasional position will require two hours per shift – typically on Thursday afternoons. Once volunteer screening is completed, a minimum 3-month commitment is required.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Staff will be available to provide ongoing support each session.
Working Conditions: -Must be minimum 18 years of age and demonstrate strong reliability. -Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required if 18+ ($20 with agency letter) -Good interpersonal skills, friendly, patient, and flexible. -Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment working with a diverse population. -Able to communicate with youth openly and without judgment Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers Transportation: NONE Needed
