You can be a part of this support network that stretches across Ontario, building better lives and creating real impact in the world around you.

Description
As a Peer Support Volunteer, you will provide compassionate, trauma-informed peer support to individuals accessing our programs. This role includes
-Offering a listening ear
-Sharing lived experiences (if applicable)
-Assisting in creating a safe and inclusive space for healing through your participation in programs.

Peer Support Volunteers play a vital role in fostering connection, resilience, and empowerment within the community.


Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual
Age: 18+

Area(s) of Interest: Caring Support, Health Care / Wellness, Mentoring / Tutoring

Skill(s): Interpersonal Communication, Sensitivity, Empathy, Respect, Self-Motivation


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training will be provided.
Working Conditions:
Transportation: On a bus route

Duration: 4 - 6 months
