Impact Statement St. Mary’s General Hospital is privileged to have 185 volunteers supporting our patients, families, and staff. This committed group of community-minded individuals are an integral part of the St. Mary’s family. They work alongside our staff, patients and families, providing supplementary patient and visitor support.

Description The volunteer role involves managing the vendor program at St. Mary's General Hospital, where independent retailers sell goods to patients, visitors, and staff. The Volunteer Association uses funds raised from the vendors to support patient care at the hospital. The responsibilities include - booking vendors - organizing their schedules - answering inquiries from new and existing vendors - collecting necessary documentation
This position requires a 1-2 hour weekly commitment and can be done from home for the majority of the tasks.

Training Details: Training will consist of online learning modules and in person orientation to the processes required to fulfill the role.
