Impact Statement The Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region (SASC) is a community based non-profit agency. We support survivors of sexual violence. We listen, facilitate healing, and celebrate resiliency. Using an intersectional feminist approach, we work to transform systems that promote gender-based violence. Our Vision is a world without sexual violence and oppression.

Description Role Purpose: Reporting to the Public Education Manager, this role will assist in developing a new SASC website, including an online learning platform.
Ideal Candidate: Open to students of all genders at the Master's or Bachelor's/College level with experience in digital design or project management. Knowledge of sexual and gender-based violence and intersectional feminism is required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Digital Resource Coordinator on designing and implementing the website and learning platform. Key tasks include:
Research and needs assessments Communication and content creation User experience testing Website review and AODA compliance Learning management system support Assist the Public Education team with outreach at schools, community centers, and events.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Role training provided upon placement start Working Conditions: This role will be performed most of the time virtually with the option of in-office work based on task requirements. Much of the work involves sitting and keyboarding, but there is the opportunity to stand and move about. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space Transportation: NONE Needed
