Description Participants of the Older Adult Services Advisory Group will work with library staff and other volunteers to evaluate current programs, resources and learning opportunities available to older adults at Waterloo Public Library. This group will also provide input to help guide future planning for library programs and service development. Applicants must be 55 years of age or older. An awareness of community events and resources will be an asset. This is an opportunity to support the library's strategic plan and growth of services for older adults.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Members of the advisory group will work with library staff, a facilitator and other volunteers.
Working Conditions: Strong English communication skills are required. An awareness of community programs and services for older adults is an asset.

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more Weekday - Daytime The Older Adult Services Group will meet bi-weekly on Wednesday mornings until January of 2025. Future meetings and frequency to be determined.
