Description The French Conversation Circle Facilitator aims to provide a comfortable space for anyone to practice their spoken French. We are looking for French speaking volunteers to lead this program, lead activities, and group discussions. While the program will take place in French, the language used will be English when coordinating with KPL staff and attending orientation/training sessions. Volunteers must prepare content for the 1.5-hour program, arrive 15 minutes early, and pack up after. 3 month commitment requested.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: At the training, you will meet with your volunteer team to discuss program goals and planning approaches, review resources, and share ideas. A volunteer and program handbook will be provided, although this is in English. Attendance at our volunteer training session is mandatory. Working Conditions: Indoors at the Queen Street library location Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 3 months or less Weekday - Evening 1.5 hour shifts in the evenings. Scheduling will be discussed with successful applicants.
