Impact Statement Volunteers play an integral role within the Food4Kids Waterloo Region family. They are the fuel for the engine that keeps us running. Each week, 220 volunteers assist us in a myriad of positions ranging from administrative help, food bagging, assembly line set up, assembly line packing and delivering the food to schools & homes for the children we serve.

Description Friday mornings are delivery days at Food4Kids EXCEPT on stats or PD Days when we deliver on Thursdays. Our fleet of volunteer drivers deliver bins filled with food bags to the 65 schools we serve. Bins are delivered to the schools on your designated route and, at that time, you will also be picking up the empty bins from the previous week and bringing them back to our office for cleaning.
Deliveries are across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Woolwich and Wilmot. We will try to keep your route the same each week, but sometimes we need to juggle things around if new schools are added or other drivers are not available. We really appreciate flexibility in this role!
We require a vulnerable sector check and waiver from each of our drivers.
