Description To help “connect” newcomer families to their new community by offering opportunities to develop social connections with established immigrant and Canadian-born families.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training for this position will be provided. In addition, staff will be available for assistance and ongoing support as needed. Working Conditions: Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening, Anytime 1-2 hours per week for a 4 month period
