Impact Statement
The contributions of Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s volunteer community have helped to change the cystic fibrosis (CF) story — and what a powerful, encouraging and inspiring story it is. Thanks to their time and effort, we advanced research and care that has more than doubled life expectancy for a Canadian born with cystic fibrosis and brought CF to the forefront of Canadian and regional conversations. By volunteers generously donating their time and energy to support the important work we do, we can realize our vision of a day when no individual or family will be affected by this disease.

Description
Plan and implement activities including kids' activities to provide a
great experience for all participants.
-Review videos from other Walks to gain ideas for implementation
-Develop a plan for activities pre-event and during event
-Secure necessary supplies and materials (donated wherever possible)
-Set up all activities on Walk Day
-Orientate volunteers as to responsibilities on event day
-Work with Walk Coordinator to ensure all donors are acknowledged post event

Age: 19+
COVID-19 Vaccination Required: Yes

Training Details: Training and Orientation provided by Walk Coordinator
Working Conditions: Flexible hours
Work from home primarily.

Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime
Flexible schedule - approximately 2 hours per week in advance of Walk Day.
Must be available for Walk Day on Sunday, May 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
