Description Shelf-Stocker volunteers will assist staff to unpack and sort weekly product shipments from the Foodbank of Waterloo Region. The role includes unpacking/packing boxes of food, moving them to/from appropriate storage (lifting 30lbs), restocking shelves, packaging produce, bread items or other grocery items as required, periodically sanitizing all work surfaces, and general cleanup as required. PPE will be supplied.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: On site training and orientation is provided. Working Conditions: The position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy loads (30lbs). Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime Volunteers are scheduled for just one shift per week on Fridays: 9:30am - 12:30pm.
