Impact Statement Kitchener Public Library volunteers enhance library services in our community and make a difference every day!

Description Our (You)th Artist(s) in Residence will have the opportunity to give their artwork a platform on Kitchener Public Library's youth Instagram account (@youth.kpl), and will earn volunteer hours for their work.
TIME COMMITMENT: September - December 2022 Duties include: Create one piece of art per month; take a photo of the artwork (this photo must be good quality, and have good lighting and framing); submit the photo of the art piece to the Librarian, Teen Services via e-mail; record the hours it took to create the art in the volunteer portal on a monthly basis.

Time Commitment
Duration: 3 months or less Anytime (You)th Artist(s) in Residence must submit one piece of art per month to maintain their volunteer position. The approximate time it takes to make an art piece is equal to the amount of volunteer hours given (to a maximum of 10 hours per month), counting towards high school community involvement requirements.
