Description
On September 10, 2022, Volunteer Waterloo Region will be launching "Invitation to Belonging", an in-person Youth-Led program designed for Newcomers of all generations to talk about how our cultures and families impact our choices in community involvement experiences.

During this program, participants will share their skills and experiences, celebrate cultures, and meet with diverse community mentors/professionals. We encourage Newcomers of all ages to attend this welcoming program. This is a space where we can all learn from each other's experiences and perspectives as we navigate 'new worlds' of communities together.

Participants are welcome to assist with helping co-facilitate conversations, assisting with setting up and cleaning after the session is completed.

We will meet every-other week (exact dates are located in the registration form) in person for a total of 6 sessions.

This is a great opportunity for Families, Newcomer Adults & International Students!
