Impact Statement Volunteers are a valuable resource, contributing unique talents, skills, and knowledge to the many facets of the operations at The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery. Volunteers assist with most aspects of the Gallery, playing an integral role in our operations.
The Gallery offers a pleasant and enriching environment; sharing, learning, and contributing to the community; developing new skills; flexible hours and a discount on purchases in the Gallery Shop.

Description Volunteer tasks: - Following the leadership of programs staff to help set up the classroom, or workshop spaces - Grabbing necessary materials from classroom storage if needed - Helping programs staff to clean up after workshops - Taking attendance of workshops, and welcoming participants upon arrival - Helping to create and organize materials for future programs and workshops
Expectations: - Volunteers should check in and assist programs staff with tasks related to the workshop at hand. - Show up on time to make sure help is given to programs staff during set up, or take down. - Willingness to learn and engage with programming at the CC&GG

Training Details: Training will be provided Working Conditions: Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekend - Daytime shift details will be discussed with successful applicants
