Impact Statement
For the past eight years, iHelp International in partnership with Afghan Association has been hosting two annual events; Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr.
Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice) is the latter of the two official holidays which are celebrated within Islam (the other being Eid al-Fitr). It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to Allah's command.
We are getting ready to organize this event again this year on Saturday, July 16th at the RIM Park Waterloo.
We need your help to run this event as organized and enjoyable as possible for everyone especially the newcomers. We have had many newcomer families from Afghanistan after the fall of the Afghan government to the control of the terrorist group of Taliban in August 15, 2021.
Our aim on organizing these events is to bring people together and making healthy connections among all the community members.

Description
We are getting ready to organize this event again this year on Saturday, July 16th, at the RIM Park Waterloo.
We need your help to run this event to make it as organized and enjoyable for everyone as possible. There are various tasks you could help with in this event. All tasks depend on your skills and interest. Therefore, we will meet with you and see where you fit best.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: The Event Coordinator will meet with you, providing you with the required information for the required task that will be given to you.
Working Conditions: You will help in an annual celebration event, that includes live music, entertainments, presentations, refreshments, and dinner with Delicious Afghni food.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers
