   About the Position

Impact Statement
Volunteers transform personal narratives of Black persons, support and empower them as they navigate systems in order to attain positive Self-actualization and Holistic wellness.

One of our favorite quotes:

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
~Martin Luther King, Jr.

We seek two Cook Class Instructors for our fall and winter Global Cooking program. This once-a-month engagement role would suit someone who has experience or passion for cooking and working with children, youth, and older adults who are racialized or Newcomers to Canada. Learning about menu design, and kitchen skills and combining your love for food will complement those of our lead coordinator of this program.
