Description
Cameron Heights Pool’s Sunday Women Only swim is a dedicated time for women and their children who for reasons of faith or personal preference, desire to swim without the presence of men.

We want all participants to feel welcomed and comfortable attending this program, so we are looking for female volunteers who can provide directions, instructions, resources, answering questions and explain pool rules in a language they are familiar with such as Arabic, Farsi or Mandarin.

Volunteers should be comfortable in a pool setting and near water. Please note you will not in be in the water for this role and you can wear clothing that you are comfortable in.

We are currently looking for volunteers that can communicate in Arabic, Farsi and Mandarin, however we welcome those with other language knowledge and experience to apply.

Start date: Sunday July 3

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training to take place the week of June 27 or prior to your first shift
Working Conditions: Indoor pool setting – maybe humid
Volunteer role takes place on the pool deck
Volunteers will not be in water for this role
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support Newcomers
Transportation: On a bus route
