Description The Volunteer Services Facilitator will have an integral role in the volunteer recruitment process. The Facilitator will be responsible for leading and presenting the Shelter Mover’s Trauma-Informed Care Orientation session to volunteers completing the onboarding process in Waterloo Region. -Train and engage volunteer applicants by leading 1-2 Trauma-Informed Care Orientation sessions per month + must be available on one Thursday evening and/or one Saturday morning per month -Gather and share knowledge on critical concepts of Violence Against Women and the procedures, values and impact of Shelter Movers -Have regular check-ins with the Volunteer Services Manager -Coordinate with other Facilitators and the Volunteer Services team -Review the Trauma-Informed Care Orientation content and make changes to presentation content if necessary

Training / Work Condtions

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime 3-7 hours per month.
