   About the Position

Impact Statement
Volunteers make a significant contribution to our organization. They form the heart and soul of the YMCA. As a charitable organization our volunteers are ambassadors, providing us with a unique way to reach our members and participants. Volunteering is more than just sharing your time and passion. It's about giving back to the community where you work and live.

This volunteer is responsible for assisting the lead specialty group facilitator with teaching a beginner – advance computer class to new immigrants in a computer lab. A curriculum has already been developed for the program; the volunteer would demonstrate the different tools and software mentioned in the lesson, and be available for one-to-one support, if needed, for the clients registered in the program.
