Foster Home Screener

Toronto Cat Rescue

   About the Position

Impact Statement
Toronto Cat Rescue has a Kitchener-Waterloo chapter that extends to Guelph, Cambridge and the surrounding areas. We have an array of position specific to the area as well as virtual positions for the entire organization.

Interview potential foster homes to make sure that they're fit to foster for us. New foster homes are the backbone of our organization, but we need to make sure that our new foster homes properly understand the role and are prepared for the work involved in fostering.

Help Us Make a Difference
Foster Home Screeners review new foster home applications and screen applicants by phone. The foster home screener also explains the foster role to new applicants, emails successful applicants TCR guides and manuals and answers new foster parents’ questions about the program. This role is a great opportunity for those who are interested in helping cats in a meaningful way from the comfort of their own home. If you have 3-4 hours available each week and excellent communication skills, TCR needs your help!
