   About the Position

Impact Statement
Our Volunteers are the heart of our organization. They play a vital role in our mission to empower those whose lives are impacted by cancer to improve their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. They make a difference in their communities by donating their time and skills in supporting and inspiring cancer patients, their caregivers, and their families.

Are you a part of the Indigenous community who would like to get connected to people who would benefit from your participation in our community? You can help cancer patients and their families to navigate HopeSpring programs and services. You can also help provide community referrals throughout their cancer journeys and act as a resource for their healing journey.

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, Student Placement
Age: 18+

Area(s) of Interest: Caring Support, Health Care / Wellness, Mentoring / Tutoring

Skill(s): Interpersonal Communication, Facilitation and Training, Needs Assessment, Project Management, Motivate Others, Empathy

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation to organization will be given during interview and onboarding.
Working Conditions: Independent with some guidance and support. Virtual - Zoom
Transportation: NONE Needed

Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
Time and date to be determined during onboarding process.
