   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Join us for our second virtual festival. The date is August 21-22, 2021.

Description
Do you have a passion for community engagement and administration? This position requires someone who will assist us with administrative tasks related to the production of the festival. Time flexibility, availability, good communication and computer skills are needed.


Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, Student Placement
Age: 19+


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training will be provided by Event Manager
Working Conditions: In accordance with health guidelines. Virtually, indoor and outdoor.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers


Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
Anytime
Time varies according to schedule of events. The festival is on August 21 - 22, 2021
