Description The Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington is looking for Board members with finance and/or human resources professional experience to serve as Directors on our volunteer Board of Directors. New Board members will be voted in at our Annual General Meeting in September 2025.
Experience in not-for-profit health/community care management would be helpful but not required. •We are seeking representation from Guelph/Wellington, Cambridge and North Dumfries or Waterloo Region •The Alzheimer Society is an equal opportunity governance Board committed to building a culture focused on health equity, inclusion, and diversity. Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Orientation; Training is provided; Training is on-going Working Conditions: Currently Board meetings are held in person, with the option of virtually, in the Kitchener office Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more Weekday - Evening •There are 10 Board meetings per year (monthly except for July and August). Currently meetings are held in person with the option of virtually on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:15 – 8:15 pm in the Kitchener office
