Hike for Hospice

Impact Statement Volunteers play a valuable role at both houses; their support is vital and integral to the ongoing operation of the hospice and is greatly appreciated.

Description Our 13th Annual Hike for Hospice is coming up on Sunday June 5th! The Hike will be a hybrid event, meaning for people who would like to participate in-person can do so and for people who like the virtual option can participate when and where they choose.
We are looking for volunteers who are available to meet once a month (virtually) to help plan and take an active role in helping to facilitate this event. Approximate time commitment is 3-10 hours per month and more as event approaches.

Training Details: Orientation to the position will be provided. Working Conditions: Virtual Meetings; In-person event support. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers

Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Evening The committee meeting dates and times are TBD.
