Impact Statement Our Mission Thrift Stores are largely staffed by volunteers who join in the goal of helping people in need locally and world-wide.

Description Maintenance includes the repair and cleaning of incoming product (furniture). Also, assessing if items can easily be brought to Sales Standard threshold or should be disposed of. May entail moving furniture to and from our showroom, as well as help load it into customer’s vehicles.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Trained for assigned tasks by veteran staff or management. Working Conditions: Small two-part workshop, with all tools that may be required. Moving items between 20 and 120 pounds with partner may be required. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 3 months or less Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime Store Hours are 10:00 - 5:00 Monday to Saturday Volunteer shifts tend to be up to 4 hrs 10-2 or 1-5
