   About the Position

Impact Statement
Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival provides a stellar cultural experience in Waterloo Region through the delivery of accessible jazz music. This cannot be done without the many talented individuals who work together to support us through board or committee work or who donate their time throughout the three-day festival, ensuring that interactive dialogue, education and unique/innovative artistic programming is brought to the community.

The Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival is celebrating our 31 years and we are looking for you to help make it another successful year!

July 19, 20, 21

Help us greet our guests, provide program information, taken donations, answer questions, help in the family tent, sell merchandise, set up/tear down tools and equipment before/after. Volunteers must be flexible and adaptable.

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group
Age: 16+

Area(s) of Interest: Arts/Culture, Communication/Public Relations, Special Events

Skill(s): Verbal Communication, Empathy, Adaptability, Respect, Self-Motivation, Flexibility

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation July 14 at 2PM. Location details to follow.
Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled shift to check in at the volunteer tent.
Working Conditions: Outdoors! Rain or shine!
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers
Transportation: On a bus route
