   About the Position

Impact Statement
Mission Thrift Store could not do what it does without volunteers who gain friendships and sense of belonging to something good.

Donations are given from many sources which are inspected and then turned into financial support for training programs for children and families in Canada and around the world.

The donation processor will inspect donations for quality setting aside the rejected items for recycle. The volunteer will prep the item or piece of clothing for the sales floor and to be priced by the pricer who follows a pricing guide which is available for every department.

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group, Student Placement
Age: 18+

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: The department co-ordinator will train each volunteer and work alongside of for several shifts.
Working Conditions: Very busy intake of goods and does require critical thinking.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support Newcomers

Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime
4 hour shifts - either 9:30 am - 1:30 pm OR 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
