Impact Statement Block Parents is Re-Building Community! The focus of the Waterloo Regional Block Parent Program is to recruit, screen and train volunteers to become Block Parents. Block Parents help build engaged and connected neighbourhoods where children, and other members of the community, feel safe when they’re walking to school, playing outside with friends, and being active in their neighbourhood. Volunteering for the Block Parent Program really is Building Safer Communities, One Block at a Time!
