Delivery Volunteers

Christmas Food Program

House of Friendship

   About the Position

Impact Statement
Over 400 volunteers contribute their time and talents throughout the year to assist with the delivery of programs and daily services and the running of special events. During the Holidays in December, another 600+ people volunteer at Christmas by delivering turkeys and gift cards to families living on low income.

At other times, volunteers support special projects, ranging from painting fences to leading special fundraising campaigns. A volunteer Board of Directors and group of Board Members govern House of Friendship.

Volunteers join program participants, staff and community members sit at House of Friendship’s table to build a healthy community where all can belong and thrive.

We are looking for drivers to deliver Christmas turkeys and a gift card. This year our drivers will be delivering to over 5000 families in our community. This is an excellent opportunity for family, friends, coworkers, and groups. All volunteer drivers require a partner over the age of 15. Each delivery partner needs to fill out an application on our website and sign up for the same shift.
