Impact Statement Help Keep Our Yards/Gardens Beautiful!
Do you enjoy being outdoors and have a green thumb—or just like to lend a hand? We're looking for individuals or groups to help with general yard maintenance at our homes across the Waterloo Region. We are looking for students looking for volunteer hours and organizations/individuals/families.

Description Tasks may include: Spring yard and garden cleanup Summer weeding and light lawn mowing Fall leaf raking and trimming trees or bushes
What you need to know:
A basic knowledge of gardening is an asset, but not required
All equipment will be provided
Commitment is flexible—typically 1–2 hours per week, depending on the season
We have 13 locations across the region—you can choose the location that’s most convenient for you and set your own schedule

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Orientation to the agency will be arranged by PCL management. Working Conditions: Work is outdoors. Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 3 months or less Anytime Time and days are variable. Could be a one time effort or a few days through the spring, summer and fall.
