Impact Statement Providing a variety of recreational and cultural activities in addition to social support services.

Description Work with staff and other volunteers to enrich the visitor experience through events and presentations, sharing information and answering questions. Volunteers must enjoy interacting with others, have good communication skills and be comfortable with presenting to small and large groups.
This is an ideal opportunity for those with a teaching background or studying for a career in history, museum studies, education or recreation. Location varies within Waterloo. Apply by visiting www.waterloo.ca/volunteer.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Provided by supervising staff Working Conditions: Willing to travel to various locations in Waterloo, including the City of Waterloo Museum Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening Year round, approximately 2 or 3 events per month.
