Description Board Members to join the team in 2022-2023.
This is primarily a WORKING BOARD. Directors provide oversight and support for the operations and financial sustainability of the Centre, and at this particular moment in time, it is working hard to ensure sustainability and longevity of the organization.
As our work develops further through partnerships to support Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, 2SLGBTQ+, culturally diverse communities, immigrant and low-income populations, we invite candidates from equity seeking groups to join and shape the future direction of the Centre.
Expertise and experience: • Understanding of the role played by independent community organizations and advocacy groups with lived experience; • Keen interest in ensuring an inclusive and just community with a healthy non-profit charitable sector; • Expertise in any of the following areas: legal, fundraising, marketing, social enterprise, accounting and/or public relations.
