Impact Statement
For 75 years, the K-W Symphony has presented opportunities for the people of Waterloo Region to attend a variety of live musical performances at venues, concert halls and the Centre in the Square. In addition, the KWS provides music education and musical outreach in our community. Fundraising activities of the K-W Symphony Volunteer Committee are an important source of support for the Symphony musicians and their work.

Description
The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Volunteer Committee presents the House and Garden Tour of Note on Saturday June 17, 2023. Six exceptional homes and gardens in Waterloo and Petersburg (Mannheim) will be showcased. The event also includes a sealed bid auction, food trucks, and music performed by some members of the K-W Symphony and Youth Orchestra.
Volunteers are needed at the featured homes to welcome and interact with attendees in an assigned room of a particular house. Volunteers will ensure smooth traffic flow, provide details about the house, decorations or art, and will safeguard the possessions of the homeowners. Morning or afternoon shifts are available (9:45 am - 1:15 pm OR 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm) on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training and instructions will be given ahead of time by phone or email from organizer and on-site.
Working Conditions: Volunteers will be placed in one house. (House location will be suited to volunteer's request as much as possible.) Standing for some time is required.
